english oral marks = NEAR PERFECTION :) , jervenne's another older version of me
I had the luxury of waking up at 7am on thursday. cos I was going to tantockseng for a medical examination! Woohoo! I haven't slept that long on a weekday in a looooong time. I slept in the car on the way to ttsh, and slept on the way to school after that.
I missed like half of school :) We got our english oral marks. I got the highest, hingying told me solastri said my marks were 'near perfection'. :)))) Too bad they're only counted for my SA and not for CA :( And I'll be gone when they're having CA Heehee.
Today was interesting. Or rather, what happened after school; an emotional rollercoaster ride. I shan't elaborate.
At around 6 I went back to school for the sectwo streaming talk, SECTWO. Haha. Some of us councillors played a little netball before the talk, Jaime's shooting is really accurate!
Spent 2 hours ushering and carrying boxes of bottled water and chairs to the hall.
Managed to get mr tan to set councillorcamp date to 1-3june :) Kay I'm gonna hafta switch my sleepovers with smellanie andrea and joanna around abit, but it's worth it. I'll be getting a councillor campshirt!! :) Ahh, I wanna be the designer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111
And everyone has agreed to send me of on the 12th bearing posters. :) <3333
After it all, jiamin jervenne and I went opposite and ate a late dinner! Charkwayteow, babeeee. :)
Jervenne may look like hingying, but she's like an older version of meee!!! Hahahaha! How come there are so many clones of me running around :)

napfa = baddd :(
After church last sunday, me hannah michelle joanne charmainelim shawnie valmond and irvin went to marche. And I spent half my allowance! :( The food at marche's really rich lah, you get sick of it sooo easily.
Then me hannah shawnie and valmond watched the art of seduction (borrowed munny from hannah lol) and I'm STILL not very sure about the ending. It's so strange! haha either that or I'm not wired to watch korean shows. :P
We had our napfa on monday. Most of us (including me) forogt we even had napfa! So we weren't in pe kit. I did 31 situps and now my tummy's sore, cos I haven't done situps since february! I'm gonna try to get my gold, but things aren't looking very bright; they modified the napfa standards this year, raising the bar for girls and lowering for guys. FIDDLESTICKS, MAN! I'm failing my sit and reach and inclined pullups and maybe standing broad jump, but sbj I think if I can try again I'll pass.
Someone likes me and I know who. Hurhur.

Had to wake up at 7plus today and go school for bio and math. :( My mommy fetched me, and when I asked for my allowance she drove into this tirade on how she's giving me extra, when she isn't, and sounded at the brink of tears. -_-' I think it's her time of the month, so I shan't say nuthin'.
Ahh bio was quite okay! I totally understand plant nutrition, so it was quite enjoyable. To shoot off answers and tell samuel what I thought and get a " I think so too" in response. cos what he thinks is usually RIGHT! :)
We had a RE RETEST!! haha!! Cos most of us failed the last two, and we would have failed our Midyears.
Anyway I STILL didn't really understand surds and irrational numbers, but THANKFULLY judith and purdey came over and helped me out! :) And mr tan is really nice, he KNEW they were helping out, and all he said was " circle the questions you don't know so I can help you out." :)))
Went home and bathed when I went back, finished at TWO PM!!!!! Yea so I had to cab to clementi for guitar. Jonathan got his marks back, 2 As 1 B and 1 C as well. So we're tying for 2nd place! Haha!
After guitar, met hannah. Bussed to far east, picked up her 77th street card, then walked all the way to orchard station. Merted to cityhall, and we went to penny to buy black shirts!! And I managed to buy two. :) Ahh I think the raggy jean shop nick brought me to has closed down!!!!
We walked to raffles city after that, went to robinson to buy, umm, SBs. HAHA. This salesgirl was attending to them, and it was pretty embarrassing cos she kept looking at us and smiling and glancing, as if offering to help. Cos we were both embarrassedly smiling and giggling too. Hahaha. In the end we bought one each! :)

achievers' day, last hof lesson
Achievers' day today! :) Agnes the Experienced made me up. Bathed in school toilet. Some of the seniors came back to watch, rongshan played piano!
Went for the last HoF lesson ever after, came late, while they were PRESENTING. Haha. Nevermind at least I was there. :)

Okay there was achievers' rehearsal again today. Ms teo has decided that we wear our choirgowns! And since I have yet to obtain one (I'm not ever gonna buy one by the looks of it) I borrowed hingying's old one! It fit me surprisingly well, they said it showed off my good figure. HOHO. BUTTT it ended at like my ankles, so short.
We sounded better today than last week, I'm pretty happy now.
But FIDDLESTICKS achievers' day is friday and the ceremony's at night, which means I CAN'T GO FOR THE LAST HOF LESSON. :((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( whot.
I'm sad HoF's ending, but I'm also pretty darn happy, cos that means careteams will be starting again! Yaaaaay! I totally miss smellanie's house, her mom always makes some tasty food for us. :)
Yesterday I got 3 more jabs, rabies, japanese enciphalitis and one more. RABIES AND ONE MORE ARE CONTINUING SHOTS :((( that means I'm going back next week to get shot AGAIN. Gee whiz.
Ah well, finally bought multivitamin pills so I don't get sick so often, mosquito repellant, other stuff, from the tantockseng pharmacy.

Church today. Hm I don't really like uncle cheryam's sermons, it feels like he's commanding us to do stuff. I mean I get that we must do it, but why can't he be a little more suggestive and less vehement.
My mum fetched me and hannah to queensway after that to pick up my new FLAMING SPECS! Wahaha! Coolness eh. And I'm gonna try and take better care of these than... say, the care I took of my old metalframes. :)
Oh got a coolbeans bag from hula&co at anchorpoint, it has a pattern of weirdly coloured campbell soup cans! I'm sure they copied it from andy warhol lah. But anywho this means I can give felicia back her bag. And I will... as soon as I leave. HAHA kidding :)
Finally saw hannah's new house that's opposite mine today, too. VERY COOL. Somehow reminded me of my old painting teacher's house, though. Hahaha.
Tomorrow I KNOW I'm gonna get in troubvle with ms teo cos I hafta go for SOMEMORE JABS at tantockseng immediately after school, and we have achievers' day rehearsal. But I'm not bothered, beehoon doesn't like us senior people anymore, she has her never-miss-a-practice sec1s and 2s. See, this is one thing I'm not gonna miss when I go nam.
Argh I'm getting the feeling I'm not as happy as I was last year. As in it's HARDER for me to get highhh and happeee and now I feel really old and cynical and REAL all of a sudden :(
And is it just me or are the weeks going by faster and faster?! I remember thinking in Feb " Oh it's so long till I move to Nam, ladeedah". And it's APRIL going on MAY already :((((

My sister came back on monday at 2am in the morning! haha!
We tried on her ac and stc uniforms, took pictures. I look cool as an acian! Wish I could be one! Maybe after I come back they'll let me in with my IGSCE cert. I don't care if I hafta retain 6 months!!
Thursday had achievers' day rehearsal. We weren't very polished! Ahhah, but the contemporary dancers were muchos cool. Especially melissa who did some ballet-hopping-twirling solo. Anyway it was a nice change from the hiphop andthey usually do
Went out with hannah on Good Friday. My mum fetched us to ps so we could watch ice age2. But the tix were sold out, so we ended up following her and my sister to marina square. It's loads bigger now!
Me and hannah scarfed down one small and one medium Carls Jr. fries, heh heh.
Around 4 my mum fetched us to church for the pre-HoF churchcamp and general-direction-of-Youth meeting. I totally can't wait for camp lah! But at the same time I'm kinda dreading it, cos 2 days from the end of camp I'll be flying to vietnam. :(
Went to borders after Hof o_O my mum wanted to buy a RELIABLE map of ho chi minh, hahahaha. The 12th book in the series of unfortunate events and lion boy 3 are SOLD OUT!!! :(((((((

english oral, more skin art! :)
Had my english oral today! I think it went well, I made sulaiman laugh :) PLUSSS before I actually knew which bigsized lady teacher she was I had helped her pluck out a post-it note on her pants that said something like " I want u, you want me?" lol. So I'm sureeee I made a good impression! heh heh.
Went over the still-there outline of the watch charmaine drew for me on sunday with my zebra marker. During assembly, marlene drew another one on my other wrist and drew some funny stuff on my thigh (a chopper/cleaver, a sachet of drugs, a scar with orange blood a green rectangle with 'tattoo' written inside anddd she signed her name on my thigh. hahahaha) and I drew a face on both ah ti and my knees :P
I need help with coordinate geom and logs and some other math stuff. Anyone willing to tutor me?

funky fingertip symbols! , punkbelt and dogtags
wore my vietnamese communist flag shirt to church today, heehee. Shona has one toooo!! :))) We're gonna coordinate it so that we both wear it at the same time.
During worship Charmaine drew funny symbols on my fingertips; on my left thumb, an asterisk, then a boxed asterisk, a whirlydoodad, a heart and on my pinky a chialynn!!!!! with the exclamations haha. And on my right thumb a star, a smiley, 70's peace icon, flower, arrow pointing to my left hand. A ring with a hugeee gemstone on my right middle finger and a swat* imitation watch on my wrist! hahaha! Oh and a big star on the back of my hand. I drew a large smiley on hers!
After church I lunched at harbourfront with hannah joanne and huie yee(?). Then hannah and I went to the isetans in town, and fareast, where I bought a punky spiked belt and dogtags from 77th street, heh heh. Watch for 'em on sundayyy :)
Took 105 home with her, stared at people at busstops again haha

New Thang, shots, FLAMING SPECS :P, cut my hair, GUITAR RESULTS
Friday, me and hannah took 183 to HoF. At the clementi busstop I recognised a senior who graduated already (I think she's in jurong, she was wearing the bikila shirt)! So I was all " Hey that's my senior! I don't know her name, but I know she's cool" so me and hannah stared at her and she spotted us in the bus, and kept looking at us then away cos we were laughing and staring at her, hahaha. So our doing this started a Thang. At all the subsequent busstops I'd pick out someone and we'd stare at that person! Heh!
We took 183 back from HoF, stared at this lady in her 40's/50's who was sitting at the clementi busstop. She looked left, looked right, then looked right at us! Haha and I burst out laughing and couldn't stop till the bus moved off :)
And at one of the tohguan busstops I picked a middleaged man and we stared at him through the seat railing. Aned when he looked at us we both started laughing uncontrollably! And he looked behind him at the bus charts to see what we were looking at, and when 183 moved off he turned his head to stare at us until we disappeared from view. :)
GEE, HANGING OUT WITH ME MUST BE EXCITING. haha
TODAY my mom woke me up early and we went to tantockseng hospital to get jabbed so we don't get sick in 'nam. I had two shots, TWO SHOTS, for hepatitis A and typhoid. And one of the tuesdays in April I will be skipping school to get my other shots. Hah, my pain threshhold
has increased mightily. :)
After our shots we went to queensway to look for stuff, ended up buying FLAMING SPECTACLE FRAMES! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! I don't care if they're uncool! Mommy gave me a hundred bucks! to buy me guitar book 1-b and cut my hair and buy a bag/shoes.
hingying and the dancers cancelled out on me though. :( I was supposed to meet them after guitar. So I went to jantzen to cut my hair ALL ALONE haha. Heh every hairdresser I've ever talked to has said my hair is nice. :)))
So now my hair's pretty straight, it's gonna curl when I sleep though. In fact it's already started to curl! So I took picture with my phone. I'll post it up later or something.
guitar was fabulous! haha! cos We got our results back, and raymond said I got the 2nd bestest marks in grade9 :) the little indian dude prennay (prennede? ahhh I can't spell his name :() got first. But I have a feeling when Jonathan or whatever his name is gets his results I'll be third cos Jon's really good! :(
I got a C for etude no 1, A for pensando en ti, A for sight playing and B for ensemble and scale! so it's CAAB! :))
I'm not really surprised I got C for set piece, I screwed it up really badly. Like halfway in the middle I suddenly forgot where G was and the examiner had to help me o_O
But I totally can't believe I got A for sight playing. I thought I screwed that too! haha! It was either for that or chord accompaniment/ensemble that I played one line twice. heh heh.
Raymond is sooo nice, I think when I come back to Singapore I'll enroll in private lessons with him or something. :)

sports day, i got 3rd! , gold for 2.4 :)
Sports day was today! :))) mrs jacobs was looking for people to join 800m cos there was only sarahchoo jiaqi and xuanhui. Yihui got roped in and me and sheryle decided to run as well. Sarahchoo won of course (darn it she's really fast :(), followed by yihui then me! so I got another medal! :) 3rd again, though. How come I always get bronze in whatever I run in?!? Sec1 and X-country this year also. And almost all my napfa tests haha. Everything bronze. :(
Jaime told me she saw me running 800m in sec1. Specifically, how I was 4th but the girl in front of me FAINTED, and I thought it was over so I WALKED past the finishing line. Heh yes I got third for that.
It started raining before the relays and some of the indiv. runs, though, so it's either postponed or cancelled. I hope it's postponed, then I'd have a 34% chance of getting another item of commendation :)
Ran my second 2.4 timing yesterday. I can't remember what I got for the first one, but I got 14min 20sec for this one, a GOLD! :))) Haha but it was really close. I checked the chart and the gold limit is 14min21sec!!!! I got in by like a second! :) Just like how I got 75 for my eoy math paper last year. :))) heh

choir shirts!
Got our choir shirts today! Yaayyy! I'm especially excited, on account of me DESIGNING the shirt. :) And it looks way cool, too! My first ever GOOD t shirt design!
Anyway thursday is sports day, and I'm in relay with stacey liling and sheryle. Hope we win! Ohoh and I'm in 400m, hope I do good for that, too. I want another trophyyyy :( I only have 3.

back from nam
I'm back from 'Nam :)))
Hot danggg vietnam is like malacca. It's like... Singapore 20 --no--
30 years ago! The buildings and pavements are oldddd and in quite bad condition.
On the plus side, almost everything's cheaper. Even levi's. Which explains why my mommy got me a pair. I also bought this insanely cheap teeshirt with the vietnam flag on it for USD3!
Oh the locals are
tiny. The women are smaller than my mother!!! And the most of the men are about her height!
And there aren't any mcdonald's or pizzahut's. o_O So I'll be eating those as much as possible before I move. Heh heh!
so! I looked around my prospective schools and I have decided on the British International School. And in august when the year begins I'll be grade11, that is to say
sec4. HEH.
And I looked at the apartment we're gonna be staying in. Groovy! There's this pool on the floor above, and they told us noone ever swims up there cos they can't be bothered to climb all the way up, so it'll be like my own private wading pool :)
Anyway me and my mum cabbed back from terminal 2. Then I met hannah at ginza, who by the way has moved to a flat opposite mine. :) We can go home together after HoF and after whatever we do on sundays! :)))) Then she accompanied me to 6pm worship.
Irvin: My sister left on a journey today and we gave her 5 birds.

Oh hannah said she cried when candice went inside customs and cried another time when she realised I wouldn't be there anymore! Haha so sweet!
